Hi, I’m Carrie Andrews.
I’ve been where you are: working hard to build a business while feeling stretched thin, unsure how to set limits, and wondering if it is even possible to grow without burning out.
For over a decade, I ran a thriving service-based business. Early on, I said yes to everything, worked nights and weekends, and convinced myself that being constantly available was just part of being good at what I do.
Then I hit a wall.
The stress was literally killing me. I was chronically ill, my hair fell out (yes, all of it) and I was exhausted all of the time. The kicker was that I started my business to have more freedom and flexibility and instead I felt chained to my work.
I knew there was no way I could keep going at that pace. If I was going to keep my business I needed to completely overhaul the way I was working.
I started by setting boundaries. I learned to communicate clearly (and I mean over-the-top crystal clear) about timelines and scope. I figured out that my emotional intelligence mattered more than just about every other skill I had, so I leaned into that to build and strengthen relationships. I dropped the notion that I always needed to be the smartest person in the room and started leveraging the talents of others to my benefit. I completely re-built my business into one that worked around my life [not the other way around]: one that gave me the freedom to be fully offline when I say I’m offline.
Now I want to help you do the same thing. I named this Build Something Wild, because building a business totally on your terms feels wild. The freedom and the ability to say no and mean it seems impossible until you’re living it. The tools and strategies I share are designed to help you build your own version of sustainable [and WILD].
MY aPPROACH
I help entrepreneurs build businesses that fit their lives by focusing on the skills that quietly power long-term success: emotional intelligence, clear communication, and strong boundaries.
Human-Centered
My coaching is practical and deeply human. Together, we look at real challenges in your business - tough conversations, high-stakes decisions, blurred boundaries - and work through them with clarity and intention. I don’t hand you cookie-cutter advice or tell you to hustle harder. Instead, I help you sharpen the skills and systems that let you work smarter, protect your energy, and grow sustainably.
Growth-Oriented
You get honest guidance and actionable tools from someone who has been in the trenches, built a sustainable business, and knows how to navigate the human side of entrepreneurship.
